ICT Solutions Analyst

As a global logistics service provider, Katoen Natie combines engineering, technology, and port operations to offer worldwide, tailor-made solutions to the chemical and automotive industries, and to the consumer goods, electronics & retail sector. Katoen Natie has 181 logistic platforms and is active in 40 countries all over Europe, North America, South America, and the Far East with a staff of more than 18.000 people.

Analyze in tight collaboration with end-users (and other stakeholders) their business needs and translate these into software change requests and projects.

• Perform business and functional analysis
• Investigate business processes for optimization
• Work closely with development to enhance their understanding of new requirements
• Provide user stories, acceptance criteria and test scenarios
• Clarify when needed with diagrams
• Test new software developments and guide UAT
• Handover knowledge to support agents
• Train users on new software
• Write and maintain user manuals
• Travel to other sites when needed for roll out
• Assist the project manager with planning, reporting, …
• Provide best practices, standards and documentation
• Keep track of innovations

• You hold a Master’s degree in Applied Economics, Information Management or equivalent through experience
• You have a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
• You have excellent working knowledge of Dutch and English (written and spoken)
• You have knowledge of and experience with tools/systems/processes related to the role (BPMN, Scrum, Azure DevOps, …)
• You can manage your work independently and coordinate priorities with your stakeholders to achieve the desired result
• You are flexible and like to work in a very dynamic environment
• You have great communication skills
• You are a team player: great achievements are always the result of a great collaboration
• You have experience in ERP systems and/or invoicing domain
