Katoen Natie, a global leader in providing supply chain and engineering solutions for the petro- & specialty chemical industry, is looking for a Junior Commercial Manager to help expand its business within Katoen Natie Services (Thailand) Ltd. (“KNS”).

By serving the chemical manufacturers in Thailand since 1998, KNS has become a local market leader in the handling of polyolefins, modified polymers, chemical powders and liquids. With an organization of 700+ people, KNS operates three multicustomer platforms – including a total warehouse capacity of 234,000 m2 – and several on-site operations in the Map Ta Phut, Rayong area.

  • Develop a solid commercial relationship with existing and potential clients
  • Proactively look for opportunities within the area
  • Analyze client requests and translate them into a technically correct and commercially attractive proposal
  • Intensively collaborate with operational and administrative teams
  • Negotiate contracts with your clients at a high level, in concert with a Senior Commercial Manager
  • Translate contract awards towards the internal organization (finance, projects, etc.)
  • Occasional participation on the work floor to ensure that the customers’ requirements are met (focus: safety/quality/productivity)
  • You report to a Senior Commercial Manager who will take care of your personal development
  • Master degree with at least 2 years sales experience within a related industry
  • Excellent communication skills in both Thai and English (verbal, written and presentation)
  • Proficiency in computer skills including Computer Office Suite
  • In possession of a car driver's license
  • Customer-oriented and assertive, with a long-term vision and commercial flair
  • Independent, teamplayer, flexible and solution driven with a creative mindset
