Competence Lead .NET

Our Business Units Petrochemicals, Specialty Chemicals, Warehousing & Commodities and Food & Feed offer total solutions based on integrated logistics and engineering. To support these fast growing businesses, Katoen Natie is looking for a Mobile Competence Lead for its sites in the harbor of Antwerp (Belgium).

• Captures, validate and describes technical vision, governance and strategy surrounding .NET development, including supporting and assisting the development teams.
• Capture guidelines and define implementation boundaries.
• Document AS-IS and TO-BE situations, Designs and document the formal workflows/template and Capture functional and non-functional requirements.
• As a .NET Competence Lead you will be the SPOC regarding .NET technology usage and are responsible for updating and communicating with stakeholders about the technical roadmap.
• You will play a crucial role in shaping the technical direction of projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

 Key Responsibilities:  

• Technical Leadership:
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the .NET developers.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices, coding standards, and development methodologies within the team.
  • Collaborate to define technical strategies and roadmaps.
• Mentorship and Training: 
  • Mentor and coach .NET developers, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Conduct regular knowledge-sharing sessions and training
• Project Delivery: 
  • Support development and delivery of complex .NET projects.
• Innovation and Continuous Improvement: 
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, advocating for their integration where applicable.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development processes and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5 years experience
• Proven experience as a Senior .NET Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET framework.
• Previous leadership or mentoring experience within a development team.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, Angular, or React.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools, preferably Bicep.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools, preferably Azure DevOps
• Certifications in relevant technologies.
